![]() ![]() I had 1 cable break so I had him install 2 new ones and a new string.These cables are steel and cannot be adjusted so the timing isn't a issue. He seems to know what he is doing but I wonder. Is it standard procedure to back off the limb bolts ? Allchockedup did you loosen yours? I have had 2 strings replaced by a guy at a local archery shop and he did not loosen mine. You gotta love the xbow industry and it's accessories. ![]() The other portable that appears to work real well only goes up to 175 lbs xbows. ![]() I have concerns with the Rocky Mountain, perhaps unjustified. I was hoping I could buy a portable xbow press that would work on my TenPoint and Barnett & for future xbows I buy. If this measurement isn't the same, how do you adjust for it? If the timing goes off soon afterward, I'm shipping it back for that correction. I get it back and make sure it is shooting good and then I can mail my TenPoint back to the dealer. They are just now mailing my other xbow back from Barnett and have had the engineers correct the issues for me (almost 3 months but I'm grateful they found a solution). Now that I know what's going on, yeah the cost of shipping isn't that much. ![]()
